2. About -Throat Cancer What is Throat Cancer Cancer is a abnormal growth of the cell and divide uncontrollably into the body, these growth of cells causes cancer and form a tumor. Throat cancer is a type of neck and head cancer, it has different names depending on where its affected. Mainly throat cancer develops in the throat, (pharynx), voice box (larynx) or tonsils.

Types - Throat Cancer There are several types of throat cancer, all types of cancer have abnormal growth, only your doctor are capable to identify is this which types of cancer and they create a specific treatment plan for that. Basically there are two types of throat cancer Squamous cell carcinoma : Throat cancer of the flat cells lining the throat. It’s the most common throat cancer in the United States. Adenocarcinoma : Throat cancer of the glandular cells. This type of laryngeal cancer is rare.

4. Two types of throat cancer differentiate 3 other types of throat cancer these are • Nasopharynx cancer (upper part of the throat) • Oropharynx cancer (middle part of the throat) • Hypopharynx cancer (bottom part of the throat)

Stage of throat cancer are stage 0 to stage 4. • Stage 0: The tumor has not invaded tissue beyond your throat. • Stage 1: The tumor is less than 7 cm and limited to your throat. • Stage 2: The tumor is slightly larger than 7 cm, but still limited to your throat. • Stage 3: The tumor has grown and spread to nearby tissues and organs. • Stage 4: The tumor has spread to your lymph nodes or distant organs.
