Statement of Purpose The CMPA will: • Conduct its affairs with honesty and integrity; • Demonstrate its commitment to the: • Viability of the industry • Protection of the environment • Community in which it exists; and • Vigorously pursue with the Government and others issues of widespread concern to Members; • Demonstrate leadership and a sense of direction for the industry; • Act as a resource and provide support to Members through the delivery of cost savings and assistance in complying with legal obligations; • Foster unity and cooperation between Members and others; and • Promote continuous improvement through education, training and other activities.

Industry Representation Statement of Membership Evolving from industry pressure for a peer network of independent quarrying companies, the CMPA now has an established membership base representing businesses involved in the extraction, processing or otherwise of hard rock, gravel, sand, masonry, clay, lime, soil, gypsum or recycling and includes industry consultants, suppliers and the industry workforce.

  4. Associate Membership Annual Membership Fees Suppliers to the industry hold Associate Membership, which is based on the company’s turnover within Victoria to construction material processing businesses in the last financial year.

  5. Associate Membership Benefits of Membership The benefits Associate Members receive, specific to their membership, include: • An insight into Members’ businesses to focus product support and development • Access to owners and those in positions to make capital/purchasing decisions, including a list of those willing to be contacted by Associate Members • Inclusion as a preferred supplier in the annual Associates Reference Manual and on our website • Ability to advertise within Sand & Stone magazine (exclusive to Associate Members)

Associate Membership Benefits of Membership • Marketing ability through publications and events hosted by the CMPA • Invitation to attend the Annual Dinner and other events • Ability to have technical papers published in Sand & Stone magazine • A voice with a voting right on the CMPA’s Management Committee • Representation on sub committees for Policy and Special Issues areas • Social contact with others with similar interests

  7. Sand & Stone Magazine Advertising in the CMPA Magazine Advertising in Sand & Stone is exclusive to those companies who hold Associate Membership.

  8. Associates Reference Manual Advertising in the Annual Preferred Suppliers Reference Manual Advertising in the Preferred Suppliers Reference Manual is exclusive to those companies who hold Associate Membership.
