  2. Bridges are very common part of every day’s life. Whether you are walking, driving or travelling, it’s quite impossible to cross a water body without manmade structures (also named as bridges). The transportation infrastructure of the United States was in the need of repair. Well, things are getting better after public private partnership.   6. 3 Arch Bridge It is another very common types of bridges that is strong and durable. Arch bridges are used to carry vehicles, pedestrians, heavy rail and light rail. Stone Arch Bridge located in Minneapolis, Minnesota is based on this design.
