  1. The Muscular System By: Daelynn Casavant ,Miranda Medeiros Brandon Paglia.

  2. Introduction We are the muscular system and our main function is helping your body move. Also we help you breathe and pump blood. The Muscles that we are going to be talking about are the, Tendon, The Voluntary Muscles, and Involuntary Muscles.

  3. The Tendon • My job is to make the muscle move properly with your bones. • I work with other organs by making them use greater force. • I am entitled to a disease called tendonitis. Another type of important muscles are Voluntary Muscles.

  4. interesting Fact About The Tendon tough cord composed of closely packed white fibers of connective tissue that serves to attach muscles to internal structures such as bones or other muscles

  5. Voluntary Muscles • Help bones of the skeleton body move. • Voluntary muscles make up a large part of the legs, arms, abdomen, chest, neck, and face. • They don’t work with other organs but they do help your bones. Next, is another important muscle is the Involuntary Muscles.

  6. Fun Facts About Voluntary Muscles There are more than 600 muscles in your body. You have all the muscle fiber you will ever have at birth. Once damaged they can't be replaced The strongest muscle of the body is the masseter muscle used for chewing!

  7. Involuntary Muscles • They work when we don't think about using them. • When you breathe muscles force air in and out of your lungs. • Involuntary muscles also help pump blood with your heart. Those muscles are cardiac muscles.

  8. Interesting facts on the involuntary muscle You don't have any say over what this kind of muscle does and when. Other involuntary muscles help digest food and are found in your stomach and intes

  9. We work with most of the body's systems we keep them functioning. • Some examples are: • Lungs • Heart How Does Our System Work With Other Systems?

  10. Conclusion Medulla Oblongata should keep us because we help the main organs in the body continue to work. Also because we work hard all the time like the tendon connects bones to bones. And the involuntary muscles stay working all day and all night to keep our body working at all times.
