Big Brothers/Big Sisters • MissionBig Brothers Big Sisters is a donor-supported volunteer youth mentoring organization, which has been placing caring adults in the lives of children in one-to-one mentoring relationships since 1927. Through the positive impact of those friendships, children with a Big Brother or Big Sister are more likely to graduate from high school and are less likely to begin using drugs, begin using alcohol or engage in negative conflict. • Volunteer OpportunitiesWe currently have 85 Little Brothers and Sisters in Waco waiting for their Big today.  These are great kids who need a positive role model in their lives, so please consider volunteering with us! TalithaKoum Institute • MissionThe mission of TalithaKoum is to improve outcomes for at-risk children and their families from the Kate Ross government housing neighborhood of South Waco through an intensive care program.  Beginning with a mental health therapeutic nursery for birth to six-year-olds and comprehensive support for each child’s family, we will grow to support our children through high school graduation • Volunteer OpportunitiesRISE Guild - Real Interest • Supportive Energy For TalithaKoum to RISE, we need a host of committed devotees and friends ~ community members who come alongside – effectively. Whether that means you raise interest for TalithaKoum among your friends, answer TKI’s phones for a couple of hours, repair a broken door, volunteer to prep a mailing, sterilize our toys, mow the lawn, request hand-me-downs for our parents’ Pick a Gift closet, recommend us for a speaking engagement, or offer a unique talent we can’t even name ~ that’s when TalithaKoum will RISE!
