Who is involved? • Director • leads the effort • Test Coordinator • inputs data to RCU system, verifies students, prepares for testing day(s) • Teacher • works with test coordinator to insure correct students are verified for testing, prepares students, proctors testing for students in other classes • Student Service Coordinator • assists with the testing process to prepare students for online testing environment and content of test

If I were a director, I would… • Learn each curriculum that is in my building (student competency profile). • Know what equipment is needed for each pathway to successfully teach skills/material to children. • Observe delivery of content from teachers to students. • Verify that course numbers/titles have been updated in SIS. • Verify with personnel that all appropriate tests have been ordered.

  6. If I were a test coordinator, I would… • Become familiar with the CTE Testing manual. • Be aware of each curriculum (year) being taught in my building. • Make sure course code/titles are updated in SIS. • Be familiar with Appendix F of the Mississippi Public School Accountability Standards.

  7. If I were a student services coordinator, I would… • Become familiar with the CTE Testing manual. • Be aware of each curriculum (year) being taught in my building. • Analyze MS-CPAS2 reports and SATP/MCT data for each student that I assist.

  8. If I were a teacher, I would… • First locate the most recent version of the curriculum and blueprint for my program. • Understand what will be on the test. • Use previous years’ data to drive instruction. • Verify with test coordinator which students are testing and if the appropriate test has been ordered. • Deliver the content to students via instruction.
