You will need to add another 10 minutes for each activity. Can other tools help with my presentation? Equipment to enhance this presentation is available from Vision Australia by phoning 1300 VISION (1300 847 466) or go to www.visionaustralia.org.au/factsheets&resources/promotionalmaterial You can give participants a better idea of what it might be like to be vision impaired using eye cards with peepholes that simulate the five most common eye conditions. Simulation masks to show the wearer what it might be like to have a vision impairment are also available from Vision Australia, plus signature guides. Language: always use people who are blind and vision impaired rather than blind people.
