1. The following dress is UNACCEPTABLE for Girls and Boys: • No bare midriff • No tank tops (straps must be as wide as 3 fingers together) • No bare feet (shoes must be worn at all times) • No pajamas or slippers • No shorts, skirts, or dresses shorter than fingertip length • No slits in shorts, skirts or dresses that extends above the finger- • tip length • No stretchy or spandex-like shorts, pants or skirts. *See B below • No leggings, jeggings or yoga pants • No torn garments • No visible undergarments • No hats, bandannas, gloves, scarves, or sunglasses are to be worn in the building • No clothing or jewelry with inappropriate insignia are to be worn in the building • No pants are worn more than one horizontal hand length below the waist • No lined jackets or coats are to be worn in the building • No book bags, string bags, or purses larger that a sheet of paper • No excessively tight, fitted or revealing garments • Body must be covered from shoulder to fingertip length • Shorts must conform to the following guidelines: • A. Length (dresses, shorts and skirts) – Fabric must show below the student’s fingertips with the arm fully extended down the side as a measure of appropriate length. • B.
