  2. LEARNING OUTCOMES

  3. What is Normal Progress Policy? • Per School of Natural Sciences policy, students are required to complete their degree requirements (120-150 units) within 9 semesters.   • Summer sessions, or semesters gone on an ELP (Educational Leave), are not counted towards your 9 semesters. • Enrollment beyond 9 semesters requires a normal progress policy petition (submitted during your 9th semester) to be reviewed by the School Dean.

  4. Graduation

  5. Commencement • Each student may participate in only one ceremony as an undergraduate.  • Undergraduates may choose to participate in Fall Commencement if they will complete their degree requirements that semester. Or, opt to wait to walk until the following Spring Commencement. • Students who complete their degree requirements in Spring, or Summer, may participate in Spring Commencement. • Participation in commencement does not necessarily mean that a student has completed all of their degree requirements.  • Students must confirm their Spring Commencement participation when submitting their Graduation Application.   • Full Regalia must be worn.
