  3. Discouraged? Defeated? Lonely?

  4. God Is With Us “Do not be afraid . . . For I am with you, and no one is going to attack and harm you . . .” (Acts 18:9-10)

  5. God Is With Us “. . .nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:38-39)

  6. Paul’s Struggle Acts 9 • Despised Jesus and his claims • Arrested and persecuted Christians • Jesus said, “Why do you persecute me?” • Paul fasted and prayed for three days.

  7. Ashamed? Worthless? Hopeless?

  8. He Has Saved Us “. . . made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions . . .” (Ephesians 2:4-5)

  9. He Has Saved Us “ . . . this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9)

  12. Heaven Awaits Us “. . . I know whom I have believed, and am convinced that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him for that day.” (2 Timothy 1:12)

  13. Heaven Awaits Us “. . . there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day.” (2 Timothy 4:8)

  14. God Is With Us When peace like a river attendeth my way, When sorrows like sea billows roll Whatever my lot, thou hast taught me to say It is well, it is well with my soul.

  15. He Has Saved Us My sin, Oh the bliss of this glorious thought My sin, not in part, but the whole Is nailed to the cross and I bear it no more. It is well, it is well with my soul!

  16. Heaven Awaits Us And Lord, haste the day when the faith shall be sight, The clouds be rolled back as a scroll. The trump shall resound, and the Lord shall descend. Even so, it is well with my soul!
