  1. What is Trns•port? Trns•port is a of suite software modules, developed by AASHTO, designed to support state construction programs.

Why Change? • Current systems are based on older programming languages that are becoming obsolete, making support for the system increasingly difficult • Current systems are dependent on paper submission for data entry and document approval • NJDOT needs a computer system that is more comprehensive and addresses the entire lifecycle of a Construction Project

Estimation • Cost Estimation System (CES) • In-house Estimation tool from Scoping to Final Estimate • Consultant Estimation by accessing CES via the internet and Citrix. • Provides access to NJDOT bid histories, which are updated as new item pricing is utilized. • Please note that when placing item numbers on plans the 02001or 02007 prefix is NOT needed.
