American Iron Sports • This netting system is constructed completely out of ¼ galvanized cable system, which eliminates the rickshaw factor, allowing the end users to have one less liability in their batting cage facility.
American Iron Sports • Porter uses 50lbs zip ties to attach the #36 nylon netting to the ¼ galvanized cable.
American Iron Sports • The use of the 45 degree supports helps to tighten the top netting, which will in return allow the #36 nylon netting to hang with little to no sag at all.
American Iron Sports • This a picture of the top netting. The top netting is made out of #36 nylon netting, that is constructed with 3 strand twisted filament nylon, 320LBS tensile strength.
American Iron Sports • Porter Rogers, assistant net installer, zip ties the two different side panel at the corner. This batting cage was made with paneling VS batting cage tunnels. This allows the end user to do different activities with in the area inside of the cage.
American Iron Sports • This facility is using square netting VS diamond. We can do either shape. In this picture one can view the side wall and see how this top netting is hung, it is very straight across the top. This gives a more open feel inside of the area.

American Iron Sports • This facility is using 4 Master Pitch MA-4 pitching machines with tokens and a central control panel. This configuration works very well in areas that want to utilize the flat surface for multiple sports.
American Iron Sports • The Master Pitching MA-4 are very good for flat surface facilities and contouring sloped flooring. The big ball hopper allows a person to place up to 400 baseballs in them.
American Iron Sports • All 4 Master Pitch MA-4 machines are placed behind the back panel of netting, this acts as one, a barrier to stop persons from walking around the machine an second the net protects the machines from ball impact. In the front of the machines there is a custom opening that allows one to fill the ball hopper.
American Iron Sports • Here all connecting cable is ran throw ¾ EMT and hard tied into the control panel on the MA-4. The EMT is very safe, it keeps all wires from being exposed.
American Iron Sports The token boxes are set back from the netting 3 ft. The protective fencing with entry doors will be installed later.
