Case report • On 27 january 2005: • Judicial investigations and official report of responsible persons • Trafic route: Kinshasa – Paris Thalys: Paris – Brussels south • Transmission of products for laboratory analysis and identification: • Originated of animals not protected by the CITES Convention of Washington • 26 smoked fish (species Protopterus) • 11 parts of carcasses and 6 legs of antelope (Cephalophus?), domestic african pig (Sus scrofa domesticus) and african wild boar (Potamochoerus porcus) • Originated of animals protected by the CITES Convention of Washington • one head of monkey of the Cercopithecas species • 3 carcasses of monkeys (2 Cercopithecus ascanius and 1 Cercopithecus neglectus) FASFC - DG Control Policy
