  7. What was the Nazi Party??? • The Nazi party was founded in 1919 by Adolf Hitler. • This group was formed on ideas of racial superiority, Territorial suspension and blamed the Jewish people for everything that went wrong in Germany.

  8. What was the holocaust??? • The Holocaust was the murder of six million Jews by the Nazi Germans. The Nazis thought that Germans were racially superior and that the Jews were inferior. • During the Holocaust, German people also targeted groups because of their racial inferiority • Gypsies, the disabled, and some of the Slavic people such as Poles, Russians, Communists, Socialists, Jehovah's Witnesses, and homosexuals.

  12. How did WW2 affect Americas home front??? • The woman started to fill in the men's jobs as the men went to war. • There was a baby boom and the woman had to Juggle their home and work life. • Every one in the family received ration books.

How did WW2 end for all the countries involved??? • WW2 ended with the surrender of the Axis powers. • Germany surrendered on May 7th to the Western Allies, and May 8th to the Soviet Union, 1945 • Japan was able to hold out for another few months. Atomic bombs were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki on August 6 and 9. He made a radio address announcing the decision on August 15, 1945. It was signed on Sept. 2, 1945 aboard the battleship A.S.S. Missouri in Tokyo Bay. • President Truman officially declared an end to hostilities by Presidential Proclamation on December 31, 1946.
