      • Development of metacomputing technology on heterogeneous supercomputing resources(The result is published at PDPTA2000 conference)

      • Development of a portable computational steering package: CSP

    • 2000: Initiation of Globus-related research and activity

      • Building of Globus-based metacomputing test-bed

      • Satoshi Sekiguchi(TACC, Japan) proposed Korea to join APGrid(Jun., Dec.)

    • 2001: N*Grid start

      • KISTI Supercomputing Center suggest at MIC to carry out N*Grid(Feb.)

      • MIC announced to start N*Grid as a 5 year(2002-2006) national project(May.)

      • Korea Gird Forum will be launched in Oct., 2001.

    Grid technology standardization,

    - by implementing international standard Grid testbeds, and

    - by developing of Grid Middleware and applications.
