Paint Studio Location • 4th floor of the north-east section of the building Space Characteristics • Size- 1668 square feet • Major space properties - Projection screen surface mounted - Entire north wall is glazing - Floor easels - Exposed ceiling with height of 14’ – 6” Tasks • Painting- Figures, Human Models, objects • Presentations/Pin-ups • Sketching

Paint Studio Design Criteria • Provide light for correct color appearance and contrast • Lighting for facial modeling and objects • Distribution of light on easels • Manual lighting system and daylight controls • Illuminance of 50 fc on the horizontal and 30 fc on the vertical • Flinn Mode to achieve- clear • Minimize direct glare Power Density Requirements • Power density of no more than 1.6 Watts per square foot

Dance Studio Design Criteria • Provide a minimum illuminance of 40 fc on the floor • Provide a visibly pleasing space • Allow for a flexible system in order to program different routines • Flinn mode to achieve- clear Power Density Requirements • Power density of no more than 1.8 Watts per square foot

Main Lobby Tasks • Circulation- access to the main concert hall and main theater • Social Gathering • Reading • Special events (art exhibits) Design Criteria • Most important space in the building • Provide a visibly pleasing atmosphere • Facial modeling is very important in the space with the interaction people in this space • Flinn modes to achieve- relaxed, spacious, and public Power Density Requirements • Power density of no more than 1.8 Watts per square foot

North Facade Design Criteria • Provide 5 fc in the horizontal and 3 fc in the vertical of illuminance • A sense of soaring • Make the building a landmark of excellence • Sharp horizontal lines at the round façade and vertical lines at the jagged façade Power Density Requirements • Power density of no more than 0.25 Watts per square foot
