  10. Why am I telling you this? • Because it’s important to be aware of the context of the University, in order to understand your role here. • Also, it gives you greater bargaining power when asking the University for things if you understand their circumstances.

  11. But will the University really listen to me? • Yes, because they care about ‘Student Experience’! • What does it mean? • Excellent teaching and learning • Excellent facilities • International opportunities • Support services • Careers support • But most importantly…Sports Clubs!

  12. But will the University really listen to me? • Sports Clubs can really shape a person’s time at University • Nearly 30% of all students at Warwick are members of Sports Clubs • It really is an incredibly exciting moment to be on a Sports Club Exec as the University is listening!

  14. Facilities • Booking University Rooms • For Centrally Timetabled Rooms, go to www.go.warwick.ac.uk/roombooking • Woods-ScawenRoom (ACCR) is controlled by Arts Centre after 5pm. Go to the Box Office to book. • The weekend starts on Friday at 5pm! Some rooms are run through Warwick Conferences for the weekend, and you may be charged. • Remember, if you don’t need it, don’t book it!
