Active Club Membership • Active Members must attend one-half (1/2) of the CLUB meetings. • Active Members are required to serve actively on at least one committee. • Active Members must be Student Members of the Institute of Food Technologists. • Active Members are required to work three (3), 3-hour shifts at the CLUB annual fundraiser, Dairy Bar. • Earn Points

  5. What are Points Anyway? • Active members earn points! • The more active you are, the more points you earn! • Points translate to $$ in the spring! • Professional development

  15. Attend at minimum half of all committee meetings • Plan at least one event (food related, sports, social, educational, holidays, etc.) • Help set up/clean up for events • Basically, plan a bunch of fun activities and help host them

  16. Be a part of… the Outreach Committee Responsibilities Include Supervising: 1) An Elementary School Visit 2) Supervising a Science Olympiad Event Benefits Include: 1) Feeling fantastic about yourself 2) Doing some good in this world 3) Earn extra club points

Get Involved! • Calling all cleaners, muscle-men, and more cleaners!!! • Cleaning shift #1 • Freezer Move • Cleaning shift #2 • EARN POINTS!!! • Or….worked a DB shift before??? • Sign-up as a manager!!!!!! • Dairy Bar Appreciation Dinner • 4 shifts • 2 must be an either a stocking (6-9AM) or closing shift (9PM-11PM) • Penalties • Must find replacement OR… • Loose points and appreciation dinner

  21. DB Theme Weekends • To take place the entirety of the first and second weekend of DB • Best dressed on each shift (as judged by manager) gets 1 additional point!!! Wolfpack Spirit 80s!!!!

  22. Ice Cream Naming Challenge • $20 gift card to Target for Winner • The Ice Cream: • Vanilla with coconut, almonds, and a fudge swirl • Currently called “CoCoNutt” • Better names HAVE to be out there! • Post to FSC facebook by Monday, August 27th
