  4. Fiscal Policy: Items on the Table • Global spending caps • Deficit caps • Constitutional balanced budget amendment • Other deficit reduction plans • Gang of 5 or 6 • Biden Group • Others

Fiscal Policy: Options • No position: CHF remains silent on fiscal policy • Position 1: CHF opposes any/all policies that cut health funding • Position 2: CHF supports a “balanced approach” to deficit reduction • Position 3: CHF endorses specific deficit reduction proposal that minimizes harm to health funding • If so, how far can we go?

  6. Fiscal Policy: Activities • CHF signs letters consistent with our position AND/OR • CHF drafts statements, without signatures AND/OR • CHF circulates sign-ons among CHF members AND/OR • CHF circulates sign-ons throughout community
