  3. AS Early Modern History Unit 1 Britain, 1603 -42 This focuses on the reigns of James I and Charles I the Early Stuart Kings. In particular you will study why the relationship between the Kings and Parliament deteriorated to the outbreak of the English Civil War in 1642
