  1. What Is Branding, After All? So, your interior design work is impressive, but you are still struggling to score the clients? Well, it doesn’t have to be like this. That being said, if you want to increase the clientele, you need to revamp the branding for your interior design business. With this article, we share how interior designers can brand themselves, so get ready to widen your clientele! What Is Branding, After All? Branding is the buzzword in the marketing world, but no one knows precisely what it is. So, why should you be thinking about branding? What is branding? Why is there so much importance of branding for interior designers? For the most part, branding can directly influence revenues. To illustrate, compare two same beds with the same material, same dimensions, same staining, and same design. However, one of them is from a general carpenter store while one is from Boca do Lobo, the latter will be more expensive, right? That my mate is called branding! Widely speaking, a brand can be categorized into the brand experience and visual branding. However, we will talk about visual branding since it’s all about logo design, colors, and font choices (creating a brand identity). Logo Design For creating the brand identity, logo design is the starting point, and it’s the recognition point for businesses. The logo design should be appealing to the client base that you wish to capture. The logo

  2. design should communicate the feeling that aligns with your interior designing services. We understand the vagueness right now, but you have to use your brand experience as inspiration. To illustrate, the interior design firm that wants to capture high-end clientele should have a high-end logo. The firm with artistic and edgy sense should deliver the same through their logo. Topping it all, the logo must look amazing on your small business cards and huge-scale banner the same. Lastly, a simple logo is better, but you have to add uniqueness and edge while curating branding for creative sides! Type What will the words look like on your advertising campaigns and logos? Believe it or not, the typeface can make all the difference. It’s better to curate three to four typefaces when working on visual branding decisions. We suggest starting from the heading and foster consistency in the typeface throughout the marketing and advertising material. Also, use the same typeface for body copy. On top of everything, style matters, but you cannot compromise on legibility, so keep things classic yet straightforward. Color While trying to establish branding, you have to choose a specific color scheme and stick with it. It doesn’t matter if you want to stick with the black and white logo, do add a pop of vibrant color (contrasting color), so the color scheme looks fantastic. On top of everything, choose the color palette that resonates with your brand, and don’t forget to remain consistent! Images All the images used in your portfolio should have stellar quality. Portfolios and pictures are more crucial than you think when it comes down to interior designing firms. In addition to your portfolio, you need to work on team photos, workspace photos, and BTS photos to tell who you are as a brand! To summarize, the brand is existential, so own your brand, whip it in the right shape, and never get intimidated. I hope this helps and please come back again for another informative post.
