  4. Societal Problem • People are not informed fast enough about the spread of infectious diseases • They may not know there’s new disease out there • They may not know if they are in a highly infective area.

  5. What is infectious diseases? • Diseases that can be spread directly or indirectly from one person to another. • Two common types • Commonly infectious diseases such as cold, flu, etc • Disease outbreak such as SARS, Swine Flu

Conclusion • People need to be informed of the infectious diseases in real-time • Many people are not keeping up with the current news • Many people are traveling everyday • Current solutions are not adequate • New solution will alert the users anytime, anywhere • No new equipments or infrastructure • Lower health care cost and time • Large market potential
