Grundtvig Learning Partnerships2008-1-FI1-GRU06-00119 1Teach and Learn Hungarian(Te-Le-Hu) • Aims of the project: • competence building of teachers of Hungarian working in liberal adult educational institutions • Means of the co-operation: • sharing of good practices, creating new contacts, establishing a supporting network of colleagues • Goals of the partnership-programme: • working out a common curriculum for all participating countries, based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Language Learning, Teaching, Assessment

Grundtvig Learning Partnerships2008-1-FI1-GRU06-00119 1Teach and Learn Hungarian(Te-Le-Hu) • Secondary objectives of the partnership: • organizing of a one-day didactic seminar in Helsinki • realisation of a one-week training course for teachers of Hungarian in Budapest • promoting cultural competence of the teachers • sharing of good practices

Grundtvig Learning Partnerships2008-1-FI1-GRU06-00119 1Teach and Learn Hungarian(Te-Le-Hu) • Benefits of European co-operation for the target group (teachers of Hungarian): • receiving wider competence and practical tools based on the Common European Framework for teaching and evaluation • participation in the creation of a European network of teachers of Hungarian to establish a supporting network of colleagues in the participating countries

Grundtvig Learning Partnerships2008-1-FI1-GRU06-00119 1Teach and Learn Hungarian(Te-Le-Hu) • Benefits of European co-operation for the implicite target-group (learners of Hungarian): • they receive better and updated training methods and techniques • the training is set to improve their learning results • national frameworks of learning foreign languages become an international character and so more transparency and flexibility

Grundtvig Learning Partnerships2008-1-FI1-GRU06-00119 1Teach and Learn Hungarian(Te-Le-Hu) • Social functions of the learning partnership: • to assist people from vulnerable social groups and in marginal social contexts, in particular older people and those who have left education without basic qualifications, in order to give them alternative opportunities to access adult education • to support the development of innovative ICT-based content, services, pedagogies and practice for lifelong learning • to improve pedagogical approaches and the management of adult education organisations

Grundtvig Learning Partnerships2008-1-FI1-GRU06-00119 1Teach and Learn Hungarian(Te-Le-Hu) • European priorities addressed by the project: • Key competences: communication in foreign languages, learning to learn, cultural awareness and expression • help the target group of teachers become aware what language learners need to know in order to use Hungarian for communication and what knowledge and skills they have to develop to become more effective

Grundtvig Learning Partnerships2008-1-FI1-GRU06-00119 1Teach and Learn Hungarian(Te-Le-Hu) • The outputs of the project: • curriculum, • handbook • teachers’ network will be used by all partners also after the project period and available also for new users. The handbook can be continuouslly updated.

Grundtvig Learning Partnerships2008-1-FI1-GRU06-00119 1Teach and Learn Hungarian(Te-Le-Hu) • Mobilities in 2008: • 31.10.2008 (Helsinki/Finnland): Kick off meeting – Work plan – Reporting system – Evaluation plan – Curriculum – Learning about the Finnish foreign language teaching within the framework of liberal adult education (number of participants: 8) • 11.-13.12.2008 (Budapest/Hungary): Planning of a training course and material - Visiting a didactic seminar in Budapest (number of participants: 20)

May 2009 (Budapest/Hungary): Preparation of the didactic seminar in Stuttgart (number of participants: 2) • 27.5.2009 (Tallinn/Estonia): Planning of the didactic seminar - Learning about the Estonian foreign language teaching (number of participants: 7) • 12.-14.6.2009 (Stuttgart/Germany): Visit of a didactic seminar in Germany, Planning of the didactic seminar (number of participants: 6) • 4.-5.9.2009 (Helsinki/Finnland): Didactic seminar for partners and the target group (teachers of Hungarian) (number of participants: )
