  5. Who we are • Communitech is a member-based organization driving the dynamic growth and success of Waterloo Region tech sector. • Bottom-line: We help tech companies grow and succeed!

  6. Our history • Established in 1997 to represent a handful of tech companies – started as a ‘peer group’ • Now with over 350 member organizations representing more than 25,000 employees • Dedicated to developing the tech community in Waterloo Region into a Tier One tech cluster

  7. Our approach Lead: • Communitech is an active and effective driver on issues critical to the growth and success of Waterloo Regions tech sector. Connect: • Well-informed and always networking, Communitech is the go-to information hub for members. Promote: • Keenly aware of issues and opportunities, Communitech advocates for both the tech sector and Waterloo Region as a world class centre of technical enterprise.
