VENN DIAGRAM • Your formative assessment for today is to create a Venn Diagram the compares and contrasts Direct Evidence and Circumstantial Evidence. • You and your learning partner will create one venn diagram together. • Use the articles from last class for information: scrambled article and socraticseminar article. • Do not turn in the paper – instead post a clear, readable picture of it on one of your blogs. Put both of your names on the front. MUST INCLUDE: • 2+ definitions of each • 2+ examples of each • 2 colored pictures • Additional color & beauty • Your own example similar to the ‘rain’ example from the scrambled article. 20 minutes

CLASSIFY EVIDENCE CARD SORT: • Go to caterforensics.wordpress.comon your phone or on a tablet. • You should follow each instruction on the web site. • If the instructions were self-explanatory, I would not have explained them. • You and your partner will collaborate on the card sort. • You will also individually complete the “types of evidence” paper as you work. • Be careful not to lose any cards from your envelope. My wife and I spent a long time cutting them out. • Go to one side of a lab table with your learning partner & follow the instructions on the web site.

  13. REFLECTION • Please complete the reflection on the back of your “Types of Evidence” paper. • Be prepared to discuss what you write. • We will discuss the last question at the end of class. • Do not turn this in. Hold on to it so you can study before next class.
