Abstract • This proposal includes the text intended for inclusion into Section 3 (Security Framework) or Section 4 (IP address assignment), or new section should be created before the existing section 3 because this text is related to all parts using Information Elements.   3. Proposed SFD Text • The TGai amendment defines new generic method to load Information Elements which are larger than 255 byte into 802.11 management frames. This new method should be ignored safely by old implementations for backward compatibility. Hiroki Nakano, Trans New Technology, Inc.

  4. Intention • TGai loads other protocol data, such as EAP, DHCP, RA and etc., into management frames. Such data can be larger than 255 byte, while existing IE can hold data up to 255 byte. • For example, size of typical DHCP packets is about 300 byte. Hiroki Nakano, Trans New Technology, Inc.
