WHAT WE DO • Develop communications strategies and materials • Manage media relations • Liaise with provincial and federal funding agencies • Communications consulting and media training • Communicate research news locally, nationally, and internationally • Train students in journalism and communications skills Office of the Vice-President Research

  4. OUR PEOPLE Kathryn Warden Director Provides strategic direction and oversees all research communications endeavors. Jennifer Webber Communications Officer Broadcast and print journalist; focuses on the humanities, fine arts, and social sciences. Michael Robin Communications Officer A science writer and print journalist; focuses on natural sciences. Linda Soshyski Administrative Assistant Provides administrative support to the Director and Communications Officers. Deborah Leiter Communications Assistant Promotes all facets of U of S Research.
