  2. “Think, Pair and Share” • Divide into groups by your chapter • Chapters with three or less pair up with another chapter of three or less • Supplies – 1) Easel Pad Post-it 2) Colored Markers 3) Active Brain

  3. “Think, Pair and Share” • 5 minutes to discuss and write down activities your chapter has done in the past two years • Divide them into two categories • Successful vs. Unsuccessful • After the music stops each group will be given 3 minutes to present poster and ideas

  4. Hitting a Home Run THREE Bases are needed to be successful! • First Base • Recruitment and Retention • Second Base • Quality chapter activities • Third Base • Motivation!!!

  5. Training Your All Star Team • Promote Alpha Zeta’s name within your college and university • Build on the principles of Alpha Zeta • Capitalize on the positive and build from the negative • Be unique and different

Trust Your Coaches • Our officer team serves as the coaches of our chapter • Each officer has a specific duty to chair • Chancellor – Scholarship and Leadership Development • Censor – New Member Education • Scribe – Fundraising • Treasurer – Community Service • Chronicler – Agriculture Awareness • Sergeant at Arms – New Member and Chapter Activities

  8. First Base – Recruitment and Retention • Chapters are only made possible by participation through members • Recruit members who receive invitations • Use the officer team to help • Provide reasons for invitees to become members • Scholarship, fellowship, leadership, and FUN!!
