  1. Research Paper Conclusion Paragraph

  2. The conclusion should contain the following (not necessarily in this order): • Restate the thesis(different words/mix it up) • Mention the person’slegacy (how will he/she be remembered in history) • Make the conclusion unified (tie into the attention getter)

  3. What is the LEGACY?? • A person’s legacy is how they are remembered by others. If your person is no longer living, what did they leave behind? What is the main thing they’re known for? • If your person is still alive, then how do you think they will be remembered when they do die? This may mean making a prediction!

  4. What is a unifying conclusion technique? (Tie into the intro) • Look back at your introduction paragraph, especially your attention getter. Are there any keywords or ideas from the intro that you can use again in the conclusion? • If you asked a question at the start, would it sound good to answer the question at the end? Or maybe ask the same question again? • If you used a quote, is there another quote you can use that builds on the same idea?

  5. My Mother Teresa Paper: Compassionate. Fearless. Strong. These are words that describe one of the most admired women in recent memory, Mother Teresa.Mother Teresa is one person who answered a call and made a huge difference in the lives of thousands of the poorest people in the world.
