The Assumption education instills strength from within—guided by faith, and manifested in determination and values that affect our families, and our circles. BATCH 95 HAS CHOSEN THE THEME “STRONG,” to celebrate this strength which has changed lives— our own and of those around us. Join us as we continue to empower ourselves and each other.

  7. WHAT IS A VELADA? Each year, Assumption girls celebrating the 25th year anniversary of their batch graduation get together in a grand reunion called velada (Spanish for evening party)..

  8. Assumption’s Old Girls’ Day is an annual celebration that culminates with a grand Velada, which is hosted by the lead alumnae batches for the year, the Silver and the Gold jubilarians. Of course, aside from the 25-year and 50-year celebrators, each homecoming also celebrates batches every half decade.et on Twitter | inquirerdotnet on Facebook

THE NEXT STEPS Aside from the performing at the main event, it’s a tradition for alumni to raise funds for Assumption mission schools, such as : St. Martin’s School in Baguio City;  San Juan Nepumoceno School in Malibay, Pasay City;  Assumpta Technical School in San Simon, Pampanga;  Socio-Educational Center in Barrio Obrero, Iloilo City,  Assumption Grade School in Passi, Iloilo; Sta. Rita Academy in Sibalom, Antique; St. Vincent Academy in Kauswagan, Lanao del Norte; and Xavier de Kibangay High School in Lantapan, Bukidnon

  13. ASSUMPTA TECHNICAL SCHOOL SAN SIMON, PAMPANGA ST. MARTIN’S SCHOOL IN BAGUIO CITY. Serves 300 children of cultural minorities in the Mountain ProvinceProvides programs for skills development, formation in the faith, and building Christian communities around the area We visited in 2nd Year High SchoolAimed at providing secondary technical education to the children of farmers It is the only elementary school in the country with an integrated inculturation program - focus is given in preserving the culture and values of the Cordilleras.Venue for our 4th Year Retreat

  14. SOCIO-EDUCATIONAL CENTER BARRIO OBRERO, ILOILO CITY SAN JUAN NEPOMUCENO SCHOOL MALIBAY, PASAY CITY ASSUMPTION GRADE SCHOOL, PASSI, ILOILO. Presentations are communication tools. Elementary school to serve the children at the “Workingman’s Village”, a government land reclaimed from swamps for the hundreds of families left homeless by the great fire of 1951 in Iloilo City. For children of the residents in the squatter area near the Malibay garbage dump. The elementary curriculum is designed particularly for street children. Elementary & high school serving the progressive agro-industrial town located 70 kilometers from Iloilo City

VINCENT ACADEMY KAUSWAGAN, LANAO DEL NORTE XAVIER DE KIBANGAY HIGH SCHOOL LANTAPAN, BUKIDNON The only private Catholic school in Sibalom They have students coming from different denominations whose families wish for a Catholic education for their children Serves the children of fisherfolk & copra workersPrimarily established to help bridge the gap between the Muslims and Christians through education. Founded for the Talaandig Tribe of BukidnonLocated in Kibangay, a hilly barrio in Lantapan that is basically an agricultural area

CORPORATE SPONSORS By October, we will have to complete our roster of events which will be listed in the sponsorship letters. -        If you have potential corporate sponsors in mind, please coordinate with Sponsorship head, Rica Amador for the sponsorship letters -        Companies with conflict i.e. Starbucks vs. Coffee Bean will be entertained on a first come first serve basis -        Will we entertain corporate sponsors who will donate in kind? Yes! -        Please keep in mind that we can have parts of the production sponsored – i.e. make-up by MAC, food by ? catering,

Project Proposals FILL UP PROJECT PROPOSAL PROJECT COMMITTEE PROFIT MARGIN Budget will be approved by finance according to availability of funding and profit margin requirements as follows: BATCH EVENT – AC 95 only – should make at least P10,000.00 profit MINOR PROJECT/EVENT –  should make at least P50,000 profit MAJOR PROJECT/EVENT – should make at least P100,000 profit Project Committee will approve concept if it’s in alignment with AC Strong and Women Empowerment.   24. Project Proposals REQUEST FOR FUNDING LIQUIDATION CHECK DISBURSAL Budgets of less than P50,000 can be disbursed to the project head. Project head will turn in liquidation no later than 10 working days after the project. Receipts and supporting documents should be attached. Expenses more than P50,000 will be issued directly by finance Payment requests should be turned in every first and second Friday of the month.
