Vaccination • Immunization – a process of improving an individual’s immune system • Can be passive or active (vaccination) • Passive immunization – introduction of ready antibodies • Vaccination - admistration of antigenic materialto stimulate an individual's immune system to develop adaptive immunity to a pathogen
