  2. WHAT IS MAKEA WISH? The Make-A-Wish foundation was found to help children with life threatening disease. The foundation grants children with terminal illnesses one wish with the hopes to give the child and their family a memory that will last them a lifetime.

  3. How it began • The Make-A-Wish Foundation was first discovered 1980 when Chris Greicius, a 7 year old boy realized he had leukemia. He wanted to fulfill he one wish of becoming a police officer. His wish came true on May 1, 1980 but sadly died the next day because of his illness. Although he died at such a young age he passed with the gratitude of being able to achieve his dream which gave him hope, strength, and most of all one good day to always remeber.

  4. Our Mission • The Make-A-Wish foundation's mission is to serve children who are diagnosed with life-threatening conditions. This foundation still meets the wishes of the children who are sick. It’s impact on children lives are so that it can have a life changing impact on them which can make them happy, give them hope, and give them strength to move forward. Also to let them feel joy in their lives through a time of darkness and despair.

  6. Fundraiser Continued • Food will be brought in by our sponsors: Smoothie Factory, Dickey’s, Canes, Anamia’s, and Fat Daddy’s • Hot Chocolate (originally $2.45 pack of 8) and Apple Cider (originally 2.35 pack of 8) will also be offered for $3.50 each • Get 25 packs of each (200 packages)

  7. Schedule • 4:00- The Festival Starts • 4:00-5:00- Bean Bag tosses • 5:30- Raffle Drawing • 5:30-6:30- Potato Sack Races • 5:15-6:45- Pie Walk • 5:00-6:30- Fishing Competition • 6:00-11:00- Hay Rides • 7:15-10:45- Joshua Radin
