Meat processing plants lost 9% of their work force in 6 states. After which they raised the wages by almost $2/hr. All persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the state wherein they reside..... • Date ratified July 9, 1868! • Thus ”Anchor Babies” are born to illegal aliens and become citizens automatically.

  6. Here is the Issue • The Federation for American Immigration Reform estimates that there are more than 425,000 ”anchor babies” born in the U.S. each year. In 2006, 70% of women who gave birth at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas were illegal aliens. Those births cost Medicaid $34.5 million, the feds $9.5 million, and Dallas taxpayers another $31.3 million. It is specualted that by granting amnesty the Democratic party would greatly widen its voting base. • On the other hand, one might think it’s the Republicans. It is speculated that by granting amnesty the Republican party would greatly widen its voting base. • Is it the illegals who will never gain citizenship?
