  4. About Amrut Single Malt Whisky • Un Peated barley is sourced from North West of India (Punjab & Rajasthan) • Peated Barley is sourced from Inverness, Scotland

What is Unique about Amrut?The Barley • North West of India is very fertile • The barley cultivated in India has high protein content of 13 to 15 per cent as against of 7 to 10 per cent needed for brewing. • Arable lands in Punjab are irrigated by five Himalayan Rivers (Jhelum, Chenab, Ravi, • Beas, Sutlej )

  8. What is Unique about Amrut?The Oak • Amrut Distillery uses Ex-Bourbon Casks and New American White oak Casks • New American White Oak – Lot of Vanillin and provides sweetness to the whisky • The colour of the whisky is very rich naturally in such a short span

What is Unique about Amrut?Location of Distillery • Location of Bangalore – 3000 ft above the sea level • Summer (April – June) – Maximum 36 Degree Celsius and Minimum 20 Degree Celsius • Winter (October – February) – Maximum 27 Degree Celsius and Minimum 17 Degree Celsius. • South West Monsoon (June – August) – 85% of rain in the evening time

Drawing a Parallel Among India, Kentucky and Scotland • Average maturation Loss in Scotland is between 2 to 3% / Year • The Ware House temperature in a distillery in Islay is about 8 degree Celsius year round • Average maturation loss in Kentucky is 12%/ year. • Every Bottle is Bottled by Taste, Not by Age.On average, Marker’s Mark ages their bourbon anywhere from five to six years.
