  2. OUTLINE • Kenten Climatology Station Profile • Kenten’s Climate Indices : - Temperature - Rain • Conclusion

  3. Located at 02 ⁰ 55' 38, 3’’S and 104 ⁰ 46' 19, 0''E, about 10 KM from the centre of Palembang City, South Sumatera. Established in 1975 and started its operational in 1976. Area: 1.6 hectare Kenten climatology station

  4. KENTEN MET GARDEN

  5. In the perspective of the global warming issue and proves of the climate change, Kenten’s data shows its climate variability and the trend of its changing over the 35 years operational. • RClimDex (1.0) is designed to provide a user friendly interface to compute indices of climate extremes recommended by the CCl/CLIVAR Expert Team for Climate Change Detection Monitoring and Indices (ETCCDMI). • 20 indices from Kenten’s Data computed by.

  6. RClimDex (1.0)

  7. TXn and TXxMonthly minimum & maximum value of daily maximum temp (ºC)

  8. TNn and TNxMonthly minimum & maximum value of daily minimum temp (ºc)

  9. TX10p and TX90pPercentage of days when TX<10th and TX>90th percentile

  10. TN10p and TN90pPercentage of days when TN<10th and TN>90th percentile (Days)

  11. DTRMonthly mean difference between TX and TN (ºc)

  12. RX1-Day and RX5-DayMonthly maximum 1-day and consecutive 5-day precipitation (mm)

  13. R10mm, R20mm, R50mmAnnual count of days when PRCP>=10mm, 20mm, and 50mm (Days)

  14. R95p and R99pAnnual total PRCP when RR>95th and RR>99th percentile (mm)

  15. PRCPTOTAnnual total PRCP in wet days (RR>=1mm)

  16. SDIIAnnual total precipitation divided by the number of wet days (defined as PRCP>=1.0mm) in the year (mm/day)

  17. CDD and CWD Maximum number of consecutive days with RR<1mm (Days) Maximum number of consecutive days with RR>=1mm (Days)
