  3. Interesting fact about kangaroo 1. Kangaroos are the only large animals that move by hopping. 2. They cannot move backwards. 3. A male kangaroo is called a boomerA female kangaroo is called a flyerA baby kangaroo is called a joey When European explorers first saw these strange hopping animals they asked a native Australian (aborigine) what they were called. He replied "kangaroo" meaning "I don't understand" your question. The explorers thought this was the animal's name. And that's how the kangaroo got its name.

Interesting fact about elephant 1- Elephants sleep standing up. 2- Elephants smell, drink, eat, and wash themselves with their long trunks. 3- Elephants can weigh as much as a school bus between ten and fourteen thousand pounds. 4- They cool off by fanning their ears.  This cools the blood in their ears.  That blood goes to the rest of their body and cools off the elephant.

They might seem as if they are sleeping but they are really just resting! 2- Sharks have been around for more than 300 million years! They were around before dinosaurs! 3- Sharks' bodies are heavier than the sea, so if they stop moving they sink. If they want to stay afloat, they must keep moving!
