Commissioning of the CMCF 08ID-1 Beamline
Light at the entrance to the white beam slits (42 m).
The rectangular “glow” comes from the light produced by the in-vacuum small-gap undulator. The gap was at 8.0 mm and the ring current 10 mA. The screen is a CVD-deposited diamond foil doped with nitrogen atoms. Small round spot from a visible BM light.
After the FE valve was opened!
Monochromatic light, just downstream of the DCM (45 m).
Gap = 12 mm (10 keV, 3rd harmonic)
Current = 90mA
