  • A preliminary study tour to 5 European countries

  • A visit to Europe by up to 30 Caribbean business executives to develop export/investment opportunities and

  • An EU/Caribbean Business Forum in the Caribbean

Agreement for Caribbean Trade and Private Sector Development Programme (CTPSDP) Phase 2 signed

EUR 6.883 million allocated to Caribbean Export

Main objectives:

  • trade integration

  • economic growth &

  • poverty alleviation

Caribbean Trade & Private Development Programme (CTPSDP-2)

Expected Results:

  • Increased competitiveness of firms

  • A vibrant Caribbean Business and Investment Support Network

  • Greater cooperation between CARIFORUM and the French and Dutch Caribbean territories (DOMs and OCTs).

  • Publication of an annual report on the state of the Caribbean regulatory environment and on regional foreign direct investment (FDI).

  • Assistance with EPA implementation.
