  2. Why I Love North East? North East is a traveler's paradise which is famous for it’s natural beauty, diversely unique and rareculture, peopleand wildlife. More than 160 different tribes with different languages and culture makes North East India a fantastic holiday destination. Cherrapunji is famous for root bridge under which you can camp or even climb this amazing bridges. • Nuranang Falls– Nuranang Falls also know to world as bong bong fall is 100 meters in height. Best time to visit North East • North East is a year around destination and each season has its own unique flavor. • Peak Season – November to May– This is the best period for visiting North East as there is no rain and winter is very pleasing and perfect for exploring this beautiful place. You can even enjoy Tawang festival celebrated during first week of May. • Off Season – May to October – If your monsoon lover, enjoy walking alongside dark clouds and relish waterfall, this is the perfect season for you.

  7. By Air – There are six airports in North East but four are most important located in Guwahati, Imphal, Dimapur and Agartala city. These airports have regular flights from New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai. Reaching Manipur is very convenient and it is only 6 kms away from Imphal. • By Train – The train journey is extremely scenic. All the major cities of India is well connected to Assam by railways. Assam and Arunachal Pradesh are the only states in North East with railways. The fastest train from Delhi is Rajdhani Express which is 28 hours long journey followed by North East Express which takes 32 hours. • By Road - Assam is well connected by road to all the adjourning states by roads.
