JESUS CALLED PETER AND HIS BROTHER ANDREW TO FISH Matthew 4:18-2018 And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers. 19 And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. 20 And they straightway left their nets, and followed him.

  11. peter knew he had met the ‘master caster’ Luke 5:3-93 And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon's, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship. 4 Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.

  12. peter knew he had met the ‘master caster’ Luke 5:3-95 And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net. 6 And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.

  13. peter knew he had met the ‘master caster’ Luke 5:3-97 And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink.

  14. peter knew he had met the ‘master caster’ Luke 5:3-98 When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord. 9 For he was astonished, and all that were with him, at the draught of the fishes which they had taken:

  15. the pharisees called jesus master but they were not sincere Matthew 9:11And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why eateth your Master with publicans and sinners?

  16. the pharisees called jesus master but they were not sincere Matthew 12:38Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee.

  17. the pharisees called jesus master but they were not sincere Matthew 22:15-1815 Then went the Pharisees, and took counsel how they might entangle him in his talk.

  18. the pharisees called jesus master but they were not sincere Matthew 22:15-1816 And they sent out unto him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Master, we know that thou art true, and teachest the way of God in truth, neither carest thou for any man: for thou regardest not the person of men.

  19. the pharisees called jesus master but they were not sincere Matthew 22:15-1817 Tell us therefore, What thinkest thou? Is it lawful to give tribute unto Caesar, or not? 18 But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, Why tempt ye me, ye hypocrites?

  20. the pharisees called jesus master but they were not sincere Matthew 22:35-3635 Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying, 36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?

  21. LET’S LEARN FROM THE MASTER ON HOW TO BEA FISHEROF MEN

  22. Matthew 22:37-4037 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment.

  23. Matthew 22:37-4039 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

  24. this is thebottom linefrom themaster!

  25. 1 John 4:19We love him, because he first loved us.

  26. Mark 16:15And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

  27. John 3:16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

  28. Matthew 18:11For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.

  29. 1 John 3:16Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

  30. 1 John 4:10-1110 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

  31. Matthew 23:1-121 Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples, 2 Saying The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat: 3 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.

  32. Matthew 23:1-124 For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.

  33. Matthew 23:1-125 But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments, 6 And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues,

  34. Matthew 23:1-127 And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi. 8 But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren. 9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.

  35. Matthew 23:1-1210 Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ. 11 But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant. 12 And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.

  36. this is how you get positioned to catch men

  37. A LAWYER Luke 10:25-3725 And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? 26 He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?

  38. A LAWYER Luke 10:25-3727 And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.

  39. A LAWYER Luke 10:25-3728 And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live. 29 But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbour?

  40. A LAWYER Luke 10:25-3730 And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead.

  41. A LAWYER Luke 10:25-3731 And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. 32 And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side.

  42. A LAWYER Luke 10:25-3733 But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,

  43. A LAWYER Luke 10:25-3734 And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.

  44. A LAWYER Luke 10:25-3735 And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.

  45. A LAWYER Luke 10:25-3736 Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves? 37 And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.
