What Rights do I need? • To access PTrac after the training is complete, you will need a valid active directory ID & password, a PTrac license, and your browser should be Internet Explorer Version 7 or Firefox. What is my active directory password and ID? What you use to log in to your computer. Who do I contact for a license? Kevin O’Brien – 703 358-2089 or Kevin_O’Brien@fws.gov How do I know if I have Internet Explorer Version 7? Open IE > Help > About Internet Explorer for version number. How do I access the current list of PTrac license holders? It’s available on the Planning/ABC website – http://ifw9wo-cpms1/ibmcognos/TM1Performance/help.html

  6. Introduction: What is PTrac? • PTrac is a web-enabled application that allows a user to enter, store and review performance data.

  8. Two types of PTrac users: • Contributors: are those responsible for entering data. • Reviewers: review, accept or reject the entries made by contributors.

Troubleshooting • If pages seem slow to open – The application seems to run faster if you open a new browser each time you access it. • If you cannot see the entire worksheet, you may not have your browser window maximized. Double click on the top bar or click the screen size icon to maximize the worksheet. • Internet Explorer 8 is not compatible with PTrac. Many IE8 users will download Firefox to use the application. • Firefox users may have to clear their cookies and reopen the browser if the PTrac does not open.
