  2. Welcome to St. Peter! • Thank you for joining us for worship this Third Sunday after our Savior’s Pentecost. Today’s hymns, prayers and readings from the Bible emphasize the amazing growth of God’s Kingdom in the hearts of his people through the life giving, faith building seed of his Word. May we all be encouraged to plant that seed deep into our hearts and those of many others as well!

  8. OUR COMMUNION PRACTICE • In the Sacrament of Holy Communion, Jesus gives us his true body and blood. We express unity with our Savior and those who share our faith and stand on the teachings of God’s Word. • Therefore, we invite to our altar those who are members of our church or the WELS/ELS. Visitors and guests who wish to commune are asked to speak to a pastor before the service begins.
