  2. EXAMINER RESPONSIBILITIES • PILOT CERTIFICATION CHALLENGES REDUCED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS REDUCED SOLO TIME CFR 141.55 (d ) & (e ) TRAINING COURSES CHECK INSTRUCTORS IN 141 SCHOOLS INCREASED USE OF MULTIENGINE AIRPLANES INCREASED USE OF FLIGHT TRAINING DEVICES TECHNICALLY ADVANCED AIRCRAFT

  3. EXAMINER RESPONSIBILITIES YOU ARE THE ABSOLUTE GATEKEEPER YOU ARE AN ESSENTIAL REPRESENTATIVE OF THE ADMINISTRATOR IF YOU TEST….THEY WILL TRAIN

  4. EXAMINER RESPONSIBILITIES • SPECIAL EMPHASIS ON ELIGIBILITY CAREFULLY REVIEW LOGBOOKS • VERIFY ELIGIBILITY CURRENT APPLICATION INSTRUCTOR ENDORSEMENTS PRIOR CERTIFICATION

  5. EXAMINER RESPONSIBILITIES • IF APPLICANT IS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR PRIOR CERTIFICATE DO NOT CONDUCT TEST CONTACT LARRY ENLOW APPLICANT’S STATUS WILL BE DETERMINED

  6. EXAMINER RESPONSIBILITIES • SPECIAL EMPHASIS • CFI ADDITIONAL RATINGS • MULTIENGINE RATINGS ESPECIALLY MEI RATINGS

  7. EXAMINER RESPONSIBILITIES • EXAMINERS MUST: • KNOW REGS. & PTS • REVIEW LOGBOOKS • VERIFY ELIGIBILITY • CONDUCT COMPLETE TESTS • ACCURATELY PROCESS FILES

  8. EXAMINER“REMINDERS” • No group testing of applicants • No back seat testing • No unapproved temporaries (CAVU Co. o.k.) • Must feather on multiengine flight tests • No use of multiengine aircraft for complex portion of test for single engine rating • Follow chain of command for DPE questions • Primary Contact: Larry Enlow • Backup Contact:Mark Bolduc
