  4. propped • My uncle propped up his truck so that he could get under it to fix things after he got in a crash.

  5. glittery • I gave my sister a glittery new cell phone case for her birthday.

  6. plucked • She plucked the strings of the guitar instead of strumming them with a guitar pick.

  7. selected • He selected the new Geronimo Stilton book from the book fair as his reward for getting good grades.

  8. treasure • You might think treasure is gold that pirates try to find, but to me, this necklace my grandma gave me before she died is treasure. I will keep it forever!

  9. praise • The man gave his dog praise for sitting when he told her to. He said, “Good girl! Way to go! What a good dog!”

  10. worth • We were really excited when we found out that the coins we found on our hike were worth a lot of money!

  11. uneasy • Getting a shot makes anyone feel uneasy, but it’s usually not as bad as you thought it would be.
