Why Pistoia Alliance? • Industry was at a cross roads • Change in business models were required • We are all in this together (Life Science, vendors, service IT, academics etc) • Need industry applicable services and standards • Bring all the parties together to drive the change • Focus on delivery of projects and prototypes to stimulate and foster new business models
