  1. Types Of Cooling Towers: Field FRP Cooling Tower, Natural, Induced Draft Cooling Tower

  2. Cooling tower suppliers and exporters design different types, capacities, and sizes, however, the basic function remains the same. Some of the most popularly used cooling towers include Pultruded and field FRP cooling tower Shape characterized cooling tower Hybrid draft cooling tower FRP cooling tower Induced drop cooling tower Cooling towers are based on the method of heat transfer. Let us discuss the 3 main cooling towers employed by industries at large.

  3. Field FRP Cooling Tower The field FRP cooling tower is a vertical FRP-induced draft cooling tower with a draft counter floor design. They have tremendous cooling efficiency and are ideal products concerning the space economy. The body of the tower is built from fiberglass reinforced plastic, with sufficient structural strength and capability to withstand velocity and industrial vibrations. Buyers can have local repairs done easily because of the simple design. Local industrial impacts can be easily countered by the field FRP-induced draft cooling towers. The tower is built from a shockproof material and can be easily suited for outdoor mounting. FRP cooling towers have fan blades, made from cast aluminum. As such problems from gear drives will not be encountered.

  4. Natural Draft Cooling Tower From the name itself, the national draft cooling tower system is an open direct contact mechanism for using cooling towers. The presence of a heat exchanger allows the hot water to be cooled directly in contact with fresh air. It is possible to increase the heat transfer surface area by spraying hot water from nozzles present within the tower. When using the nozzles inside the tower, the temperature and humidity of the Air increase resulting in warmer moisture in the air. On the other hand, the resultant of the process i.e. the cold water gets collected at the bottom. A fresh air supply to cool the hot water is also present at the bottom.

  5. Induced Draft Cooling Towers The induced draft cooling towers are available in two types, primarily the crossflow other counterflow. The crossflow-induced draft cooling towers are open sideways. Air is passed through the sides into the central chamber, also called the plenum chamber. The water flows downward and is released at the top of the structure by using one or more fans. The characteristics of a crossflow-induced cooling tower include great airflow quantity, compared to the counterflow cooling tower. The fan horsepower may be higher, however, the contact service is less effective and the icing is a problem during the winter months.
