  29. Be Thou My Vision Be Thou my vision, O Lord of my heart; Naught be all else to me, save that Thou art: Thou my best thought, by day or by night, Waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light.

  30. Be Thou my wisdom, and Thou my true Word; I ever with Thee and Thou with me Lord: Thou my great Father, and I Thy true son, Thou in me dwelling, and I with Thee one.

  31. Riches I heed not, or man's empty praise, Thou mine inheritance, now and always; Thou and Thou only, first in my heart, High King of heaven, my Treasure Thou art.

  32. High King of heaven, my victory won, May I reach heaven's joys, O bright heaven's Sun Heart of my own heart, whatever befall, Still be my vision, O Ruler of all.

  33. Heart of my own heart, whatever befall, Still be my vision, O Ruler of all.

  34. 1 Peter 4 Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice insofar as you share Christ’s sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad when his glory is revealed. If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. If anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in that name. Therefore let those who suffer according to God’s will entrust their souls to a faithful Creator while doing good.

  35. Jesus, I My Cross Have Taken Jesus, I my cross have taken, All to leave and follow Thee. Destitute, despised, forsaken, Thou from hence my all shall be.

  36. Perish every fond ambition, All I’ve sought or hoped or known.Yet how rich is my condition! God and heaven are still mine own.

  37. Let the world despise and leave me, They have left my Savior too Human hearts and looks deceive me, Thou art not like them untrue

  38. O while thou dost smile upon me, God of wisdom, love and might Foes may hate and friends disown me, Show thy face and all is bright

  39. Man may trouble and distress me, ’twill but drive me to Thy breast. Life with trials hard may press me; Heav’n will bring me sweeter rest.

  40. Oh, ’tis not in grief to harm me While Thy love is left to me; Oh, ’twere not in joy to charm me, were that joy unmixed with Thee.

  41. Go, then, earthly fame and treasure! Come, disaster, scorn and pain! In Thy service, pain is pleasure; with Thy favor, loss is gain.

  42. I have called Thee, “Abba, Father”; I have set my heart on Thee: Storms may howl, and clouds may gather, all must work for good to me.
