  7. Desired Club Attributes • Diversity matches community demographics • Classifications reflect local businesses • 1/3 of membership age 45 and younger

  8. Membership • 100-120 members by 2018 • Involve all members in service projects and committees • Ensure membership familiar with club vision, mission, and values

  9. Club Administration • Best speaker programs in West Knoxville • Produce weekly video of meetings for website, social media, etc. • Produce slide show of club projects and activities at sign in desk

  10. Community Service • Rotary symbols on highway signage • Enhance presence at Flu Shot Sat. • Read to elementary school students • Backpacks for Ball Camp students • Sponsor local sports programs • Support fundraising for community park or Community Center

  11. New Generations/Youth Service • Scholarship endowment • Interact/Rotaract support Habitat house build • FRC/Interact/Rotaract participate in more joint club projects • Scholarships for summer camps • Interact president attends quarterly Board meeting • Hardin Valley HS Interact club • Mentoring program for students

  12. International Service • Joint project with Turkey Creek club • Involve Interact/Rotaract in international projects • District leader in Vocational Training Teams/GSE • Mobile diagnostic van in rural areas

  13. Fund Raising • Create separate committee • Increase wine-tasting: $35-$40,000 • Oktoberfest event: $25-$40,000 • Chili Cook-off: $50,000 • Tour de Farragut bike race: $50,000

  14. Foundation • Every member a Paul Harris Fellow • Highest per capita Annual Fund giving in district • Sponsor another Ambassadorial/Global Scholar

  15. Family of Rotary • Focus on member communication and retention • Enhance club social events • Investigate Rotary Fellowship program

  16. Public Relations • Club PSAs on local radio/TV • Produce posters advertising Flu Shot Sat. • Publicize Oktoberfest • Make Rotary symbols more prominent in community
