  1. Wedding Photographer In Kerala

  2. Kerala, in southern India, is well known for its natural beauty, vibrant culture and long history. One of Kerala's most attractive features is its ancient wedding traditions: wedding ceremonies in Kerala are beautiful affairs lasting several days with many rituals and ceremonies involved.

  3. Engagement ceremonies, also known as 'Nischayam,' take place before wedding ceremonies begin and gift exchange occurs between families of bride and groom during this ritual. At this ceremony, bride and groom cannot see each other until the actual wedding date.

  4. On the day of their marriage, the groom and his entourage arrive at her home where her parents welcome them by lighting a lamp and offering greetings. Bride and groom exchange garlands before seating on stage to begin their wedding ceremony.

  5. At this next ceremony, known as "Prelude to the Wedding", both families send a procession from their respective houses to each other carrying gifts, traditional items (coconuts, betel leaves and flowers), as well as flowers. At their destination, each bride's family hosts a feast welcoming this procession.
