  5. Digital Age • In 1982, CDs are introduced to replace cassette tapes • At that time revolutionizing the audio industry

  6. Camcorders • In 1983, the first consumer camcorder was released by Sony

  7. Cell phone • Motorola releases first cell phone in 1984 • Offered half hour talk time and weighted 2lbs • Retailed for $3995

  8. The Imac • In 1998, Apple introduces the Imac • Becomes the gold standard of desktops

  9. IPod • 2001 Apple takes the audio media industry over the top • Through 2009 sold over 230 million units

  10. IPhone • Introduced June of 2007, it changed cell phone history • Time magazine names it “ invention of the year

  11. IPad • In 2010, Apple release the date for the Ipad • This bridged the gap between the Iphone and MacBook
